About CLASSUM

We want to create and expand spaces where healthy interactions and collaboration can take place naturally inside and outside the classroom. Learners can freely interact on CLASSUM, engaging in Q&A and discussions through text and other media that fit their communication needs in this digital age. Educators using CLASSUM to communicate with their students have experienced increased student engagement and reduced admin work.
This year, CLASSUM raised a $6M Series A led by Pearl Abyss Capital and Storm Ventures along with existing investors Big Basin Capital and Smilegate Investment. Description
As a member of the Global team, you will primarily focus on targeting customers (schools and companies) and partners in the United States that are of interest to CLASSUM through direct and indirect creative campaigns. Within higher-Ed and corporate markets, you will identify key customer types and plan go-to-market strategies to build online campaigns and prepare promotional materials and presentations. You will work closely with the Sales team in the US to assist in preparing presentations, ads, and other content-based creative marketing content in various formats.
Responsibilities
Build creative campaigns online, targeting US markets in the higher ed and corporate sector
Create verbal, visual, and video content; distribute marketing materials
Work closely with US Sales team to gain insight and feedback to further advertising promotional activities
Market analysis and research on the competitive landscape
Manage company database and CRM
Host marketing events (when necessary)
Work with Korean Marketing team to execute parallel marketing campaigns
As part of a rapidly growing startup in the center of Gangnam with users from over 6,000 organizations from 25 countries, you will be part of the core team at our headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. You will report directly to the CEO while working across other team leads including the Korea marketing team. You will be able to work with a diverse range of clients and expand your network across different industries with similar educational needs. We are looking for someone who will represent CLASSUM in the U.S. and help expand our presence and client base in the country.
Requirements
Native/bilingual English
Bachelor’s degree (business or related field preferred)
1-2 OR 3 years of B2B sales/marketing experience in the U.S.
Strong interest in education or education technology
Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual Korean
Experience in working at an EdTech startup/industry
Experience using Hubspot, other marketing and ad tech tools a plus
Previous Marketing or Sales position for a B2B SaaS company
Any marketing certifications (Google Analytics, AdWords, etc.)
