🎬 2025 <온갈2 두 개의 감옥> 상영회 사전접수 안내 🎬

통일사랑교육협의회와 국제민주주의허브(IDH)는 <온갈1: 크리티컬 타임>에 이어, 북한이탈주민의 삶과 정착의 현실을 담아낸 영화 <온갈2 – 두 개의 감옥> 상영회를 개최합니다.

이번 작품은 “철창 있는 감옥을 벗어나, 철창 없는 감옥에 오다”라는 문제의식에서 출발합니다. 북한이라는 물리적 감옥에서 벗어난 이들이 한국 사회에서 다시 마주한 것은 경제적 압박과 고독이라는 또 다른 감옥이었습니다.

탈북민들은 탈북한 해부터 나이를 세고, 정으로 살아갑니다. 정착은 제도의 문제가 아니라 결국 본인의 몫이며, 때로는 남한에서조차 목숨을 걸어야 하는 순간이 찾아옵니다. 코로나19라는 위기 속, 탈북 1년 만에 겪은 큰 사고와 하루 수천만 원에 달하는 수술비 앞에서, 이들은 스스로 묻습니다.

“우리가 목숨을 걸고 한국에 온 의미는 무엇인가?”
“과연 우리는 사선(死線) 뒤의 또 다른 사선을 넘어설 수 있을까?”

👉 이번 상영회에서는 영화 상영 후, 감독과의 토크 세션이 마련됩니다. 배우 송재희 님이 진행을 맡아 작품의 의미와 제작 과정을 깊이 있게 나누며, 관객들과 함께 이야기를 이어갑니다.

이번 상영회는 단순한 영화 관람을 넘어, 자유와 인간 존엄성의 의미를 함께 고민하는 소통의 장이 될 것입니다. 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다.

🎬 Pre-Registration for 2025 ONGAL 2: The Two Prisons Screening 🎬

The Unification Education Association and the International Democracy Hub (IDH) invite you to the screening of On-Gal 2: Two Prisons, the follow-up to On-Gal 1: Critical Time.

This documentary begins with a striking question:
“Escaping a prison with bars, only to enter a prison without them.”

For many North Korean defectors, leaving the physical prison of the North was only the beginning. In South Korea, they often confront another invisible prison—economic pressure, loneliness, and the heavy burden of resettlement.

Defectors count their age not from their birth year, but from the year they escaped. Life in South Korea, regardless of policy, ultimately rests on their own shoulders. Sometimes, survival here also requires risking one’s life. Amid the hardships of COVID-19, one defector faced a devastating accident just a year after arriving. The surgery cost soared to 68 million KRW in only two days. In that moment between life and death, a haunting question arose:

“Was it worth risking everything to come to South Korea?”
“Can we truly overcome the next life-or-death line that lies ahead?”

👉 After the screening, there will be a Talk Session with the Director, hosted by renowned actor Song Jae-hee, offering deeper insights into the film and a chance to engage in live Q&A.

This event is not just a film screening but an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of freedom and human dignity together. We warmly welcome your interest and participation.
