○ 공모개요

코리아타임스가 우리은행의 후원으로 경제 에세이 콘테스트를 개최합니다.

올해로 22회를 맞는 경제 에세이 콘테스트는 한국 경제에 대한 대학생들의 이해도를 높이고,

영어 글쓰기 능력을 향상시키기 위해 마련되었습니다.

응모자는 악 8백 단어의 신문 칼럼 형식의 영어 에세이를 작성해 제출해야 합니다.

○ 공모주제

[Topic 1]

Korean banks and securities firms are increasingly entering the digital asset industry as a new growth driver. This raises the question of whether their expansion into areas such as custody, asset management, stablecoin issuance and exchange acquisitions can create new growth opportunities. Discuss on how such moves may contribute to financial market innovation and consumer protection in Korea.

[Topic 2]

Financial institutions are using artificial intelligence (AI) to improve customer service, develop customized financial products and strengthen financial security. The use of AI technology has become a key factor driving innovation across the financial industry. Based on this trend, discuss how financial institutions should continue to develop their use of AI in the areas of customer service, financial products and security in the future.

- 입상자 발표 : 6월 16일(화) 예정, 시상자 개별 연락

○ 지원자격

- 국내외 대학 및 대학원에 재학 중인 대학(원)생

* 지역제한 없음

- 모집대상: 개인

※ 에세이는 반드시 개인이 작성해야 합니다. (팀 참가 불가)

○ 접수방법

- 신청방법: 참가신청서 폼에 에세이 작성 후 담당자 전자메일([email protected])로 제출

- 파일명 양식: Given Name_Surname_School_topic number.pdf

예) Gil Dong_Hong_Koreatimes University_1.pdf

○ 출품규격

- 800단어 내외의 영어 에세이

- 참여자정보, 제목(title), 참고문헌(reference or bibliography) 등은 단어 수에서 제외

- Citation Style: APA or Chicago style

○ 시상내역

- 1등: 300만원

- 2등: 200만원

- 3등: 100만원

○ 유의사항

- 에세이는 반드시 개인이 작성해야 합니다. (팀 참가 불가)
